The Milwaukee Road had one main line to Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls.
The Soo Line had a branch line from Chippewa Falls to downtown Eau Claire.
The Chicago Northwestern mainline is still in service with Union Pacific.
The Milwaukee Road line is a state trail.
